I realized yesterday that ive been using way to many colours in some pieces, the Shibori was being rudely overshadowed but the composition. So thats when i decided to do this piece. The aim was to use various shades of one colour (green) and minimal use of other colours ( the women).

I’ve been wanting to learn this for the longest time. And I couldn’t find anyone who was willing to teach me. So like most people , I turned to the Internet, and voila, my first piece !!!! Once I figure out the basics, I started doing my own thing. It quite a nice thing to do when your in a pensive mood. It’s small enough to slip into your pocket. So my days of having huge knitting needles poking out of my back pocket are finally over!

When i saw this little guy in the box with all the other little guys neatly sitting, waiting to be eaten my heart just skipped a beat. A chocolate elephant!!! how simply adorable is that . and look at him, so perfectly and intricately made. ( yes i know they probably used a mold)
So anyway, this little guy stomped his way into my work blog for his sheer awesomeness. cos chocolate elephants such as him are really hard to come by.
